Laura Johnson

Laura was a professional musician for 40 years, playing string instruments and piano, teaching, playing in symphonies and conducting orchestras.  She retired in her late 60’s but soon realized she needed more purpose besides playing golf and teaching piano to her grand kids.  Her oldest son, Kyle, had started Magenta Cleaning in 2021 but didn’t have time to run it anymore, so Laura purchased the growing company in July, 2025.  Since that time, Magenta has grown to service all of Elkhart and St. Joe counties in Indiana and areas in lower Michigan.  Magenta has become known in the post construction world as a company that can be trusted to get huge apartment complexes ready for occupancy after construction.  And with over 100 recurring residential clients, the company is gaining a reputation for their quality and attention to detail as well as creating great client relationships.  Magenta is part of an international cleaning consulting company called Cleaning Business Fundamentals, a member of Cleaning for a Reason where cancer patients can sign up for free house cleaning and a sponsor of Ribbon of Hope, a cancer support ministry in Elkhart County, IN.
